Operating Rules

A copy of the pool's operating rules is enclosed and will be prominently posted at the pool. Please take the time to read them thoroughly. Parents, please make sure that your children know, understand, and observe these rules. If you bring guests to the pool, you are responsible for ensuring that they understand and observe the rules. We want the pool to be safe and enjoyable for everyone.

Any members who flagrantly or repeatedly violate the rules may have their memberships suspended or canceled.

Pool Operating Rules

TAKE PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY

1. All persons swim at their own risk.
2. Shower before entering the pool.

MANAGE CHILDREN WELL

3. Children under 8 MUST be accompanied by a person 16+ years.
4. Children 8-13 MUST pass a swim test in order to attend unaccompanied.C
5. Children not toilet-trained MUST wear a swim diaper AND rubber pants in the main pools.
6. Wading pool is for children under FIVE years only unless excepted by the manager.
7. During adult swim, children under 16 MUST completely vacate the pool and not interfere with adult swimmers.

USE SWIM LANES AND DIVING AREAS RESPECTFULLY

8. Lap lanes are for lap swimming; swimming instruction is permitted in lanes.
9. One person and one bounce on the diving board.
10. Diving forbidden in the shallow/recreation pool.

UPHOLD SAFE OPERATIONS

11. NO running, rough play or other activities that hinder safe operation of the pool.
12. NO water guns, water balloons or flotation devices allowed without permission of the manager.
13. NO pets.
14. NO smoking.

All accidents must be reported to pool management.  Speak to the manager about using approved flotation devices or accommodating other special needs.

15. MEMBERS ENTERING THE POOL ENCLOSURE WHEN THE POOL IS CLOSED ARE SUBJECT TO SUSPENSION FOR THE SEASON.
